Ethical Sourcing & Labour Standards Statement

Our Position

Oneday FMCG Trading Limited Company is a trading company and exporter. We do not own factories and we do not manufacture. The goods we supply are made by their brand owners and by contract manufacturers in Vietnam, and are obtained from those manufacturers and from authorised distribution channels. This statement sets out what we expect of the businesses we buy from, what we do about it, and — equally important — what we do not claim.

What We Expect of Suppliers

We expect every manufacturer and supplier in our chain to meet, as a minimum, the requirements of Vietnamese labour law and the principles below:

• No forced labour. All work is voluntary. No bonded, indentured or prison labour, no withholding of identity documents, and no recruitment fees charged to workers.
• No child labour. No employment below the legal minimum age, and no hazardous work by young workers.
• Freedom of association. Workers may associate and bargain collectively in accordance with applicable law, without intimidation.
• Wages and hours. Wages meet or exceed the legal minimum, are paid on time and in full, with overtime compensated as required by law. Working hours comply with legal limits and overtime is voluntary.
• Health and safety. A safe workplace, appropriate protective equipment, machine guarding, fire safety and accessible exits, with training for the work performed.
• No discrimination or harassment. No discrimination in hiring, pay or promotion, and no harassment or abuse of any kind.
• Legal and environmental compliance. Valid permits, lawful handling of waste and effluent, and compliance with environmental requirements applicable to the site.

Sourcing Route

We buy predominantly from established manufacturers and authorised distributors of internationally recognised brands operating in Vietnam. Those brand owners run their own supplier codes and audit programmes across their manufacturing base, which is a meaningful part of the assurance behind the goods we ship. Our sourcing standards are also linked to product integrity, addressed in our Product Authenticity & Anti-Counterfeit Policy.

What We Do

• We prefer manufacturers and authorised channels over informal or unverifiable sources.
• We record where each line is sourced, so that a question about a shipment can be traced back.
• We raise concerns with our supplier when an issue is brought to our attention, and we ask for a response and corrective action.
• We stop buying from a source where a serious issue is confirmed and not remedied.

What We Do Not Claim

We think it is more useful to state our limits than to overstate our position. We do not currently operate an independent social-audit programme of our own, and we do not hold third-party ethical-trade certification. We do not have visibility of every tier of the supply chains behind the branded goods we distribute; that visibility sits with the brand owners and their own compliance programmes. Where a buyer requires audited assurance for a specific product or plant, tell us at enquiry stage and we will approach the manufacturer for the documentation it is able to release.

Modern Slavery

Forced labour and human trafficking have no place in our business or in our supply chain. Any credible report of forced labour connected with goods we supply is escalated to the supplier concerned and, where warranted, to the relevant authorities, and we will suspend purchasing from the source while the matter is investigated.

Working With Buyers

Buyers who operate their own supplier codes are welcome to send them to us. We will tell you honestly which requirements we can meet directly, which depend on the manufacturer, and which we cannot verify. We would rather decline a clause than sign one we cannot stand behind.

Raising a Concern

Concerns about labour conditions connected with goods supplied by us can be reported to info@onedayfmcg.com, marked for the attention of management. Reports are handled confidentially so far as possible, and we do not retaliate against anyone raising a concern in good faith.
